Hello there!
Thanks so much for checking out this online course.
I have always loved this holiday season that comes in the winter for those of us in the northern hemisphere. It can be such a cosy time. However, the increasing commercialisation of the holidays, the pressure to do something even more special each year and the stress and strains it can put on family life make it a challenging time as well. This is where my compassion practice really helps me. It supports me to keep my heart open and try and focus on what is really important. That is what this online course is all about.
I am the founder-director of Awareness in Action. We focus on supporting people to make meditation, kindness and compassion part of their everyday lives.
I hope you decide to join me for the course!
The course starts on 9 November 2019

What people have said about the course
I thought I knew quite a lot about compassion but my understanding of compassion expanded into a new dimension after taking this course. I am now able to see myself, and others in a different way
Mary Duffy, Scotland
My day job is both very macho and confrontational. Ding this course showed me how I could use difficult moments to benefit both myself and my customers; very practical and easily applied. I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of scientific and spiritual information, which combined beautifully to give you confidence in yourself.
John Bald, Edinburgh
An excellent course – vibrant, relevant, engaging, challenging and extremely worthwhile. I loved how experiential it was and so relevant to one’s daily life. I learned a lot about myself, and how I relate to others – often not how I would really wish! It gave many examples and techniques for opening one’s heart and mind, and changing one’s narrow-minded, judgemental attitudes and perception of others
Susan Burrows, UK
