When we pass fifty it can often seem as if we have become invisible. We can feel as if we have somehow become unnoticed, even irrelevant. In this talk, Maureen talks through why this seems to happen, how we might wish to work with it and ways to change things.
This conversation lasts for just over an hour and explores how the term vulnerability can be used to emphasise older peoples' possible fraility. By using the existential understanding of the four dimensions of human life, Maureen explores how the vulnerability of old age can be worked with in a way that enables and empowers us. The idea of accruing wellbeing capital to help us navigate our later years provides a fresh and welcome perspective.
